Set on a private 52-acres on the Redwater River, Shortgrass is at the center of iconic parks, such as Mt Rushmore, Badlands, and Devil's Tower, with access to hundreds of miles of hiking trails filled with wild flowers and raspberries. If it suits you, join in on rock climbing, mountain biking, or miles of UTV trails that can push you right out of your comfort zone.

Staying in our bungalows harkens back to a heady time in America’s past where a person’s curiosity drove them to explore new lands.
All of our accommodations are large, unique, bunglows imported from the Netherlands that have been Capp-sized (extensively customized by Cappie, the owner) – from huge glass french doors, to designer finishes, full bathrooms, heated floors, a private deck, and a sky full of stars.
Enjoy the 50+ acre property with a state-of-the-art electric golf cart.
